Information
This handy guide published in 2002 by JF Publishing Sdn Bhd,
one of the founders of Cross Time Matrix Sdn Bhd,
was written by Joan Foo Mahony with two
driving
priciples
in mind: to demystify qi gong and make the pratice of qi gong easy and accessible to all without the need for supervision by a qi gong master. Whether at work, at play, or in
moments of leisure, Indispensable Qi Gong aims to give readers a chance to use qi gong to optimise those little pockets
of time to improve well being, both physically and mentally.
A step by step guide with accompanying illustrations and DVD, the book aims to simplify the many stances of qi gong, covering most everyday
situations, so that qi gong can be done even whilst sitting
in a traffic jam or standing in a queue for example.
Indispensable Qi Gong does not aspire
to be an exhaustive tome on this wonderful 3,000 year old discipline. It
does not deal with the origins of qi gong, nor does it attempt
to explain the scientific theories surrounding qi gong. What
it is, however, is an essential guide for novice and veteran
practitioners alike. Put simply, Indispensable Qi Gong was
designed for you and other like-minded people on the go, with
busy schedules and scant time to waste. Qi gong is not complicated,
because ultimately qi gong is for everyone.
